Hauntings at The Hermitage
This annual community event features trick-or-treating, activities and spooky storytelling, an evening tour of the Mansion, and a Haunted Hayride attraction! We need LOTS of volunteers to assist with tasks from helping us set up during the day, to working different activity stations, or even acting in costume on the Hayride that night!
This posting is for both DAYTIME SET-UP CREW and the EVENING EVENT CREW. If you'd
like to help us put out the props and spooky effects along the Hayride route, last-minute decorations, and final set-up, then sign up for the 9:00am - 2:00pm shift. If you'd like to sign up for working an activity station, helping at the ticketing area, or acting in costume on the Haunted Hayride, then sign up for the 3:00-10:00pm shift.
All volunteers will receive a meal and a break during their time helping.
Please dress weather-appropriate, as we'll be doing a lot of set-up outside.
Everyone signed up for the evening shift will be contacted to find out details on what you'd like to do.
Actors on the Hayride will be asked to attend a meeting ahead of the event date, to pick out costumes and discuss plans!
