Many of Hands On Nashville's Nonprofit Partners accept donated items. Listed below is a wish list of items needed to help with the continuation of their successful programs. Bellevue Edible Learning Lab, Inc. (a.k.a. Christian Community Outreach, Inc. needs non-perishable food, ½ gallon size fresh milk, butter, fresh fruits and vegetables, personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo, dental care, etc.), feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, facial tissue, dog/cat food for food pantry and client services. They also have a thrift store that accepts donations of clean and in good condition clothing, accessories, linens, small household items, books. Communities In Schools of Tennessee needs winter coats in the following sizes: Boys & Girls Small (6), Girls Medium (8/10), Boys XL (14-16), Adult Men's Small & Medium, & Adult Women's Medium. FiftyForward Meals on Wheels needs non-perishable food items for homebound older adults who cannot stand and cook. Popular items are pop-top cans of soup, chili, macaroni O’s, beans, vegetables, and other entrees; wrapped peanut butter or cheese snack crackers; shelf stable fruit, Jell-o, or pudding cups; soft breakfast bars; individual cereals; peanut butter; crackers in sleeves. Water City USA needs any item of trading value for fundraising silent auctions and volunteer appreciation, like: unused tickets for Titans, Predators, Sounds, movies, museums or other entertainment venues, restaurant gift certificates or meals tickets; used printer ink cartridges and printing services; used cigarette butts for our recycling program; iPads and/or laptops for field work.
