Mass Care Sheltering Volunteers
The American Red Cross TN Region is recruiting new volunteers! The American Red Cross will be holding fast track training for Mass Care Sheltering Volunteers. Mass Care Volunteers offer direct support to our clients that are displaced from homes due to natural disasters.
Mass care volunteers aid with
- Feeding
- Shelter operations
- Bulk distribution of supplies
Must meet physical ability requirements such as bending, lifting at least 20lbs, standing and walking on uneven terrain. All volunteers must pass a background check and motor vehicle report. Training will be provided.
If you are interested in volunteering in Florida, can deploy for a minimum of 2 weeks, please email marlene.sweda@redcross.org for the next available training classes.
